MOMENT OF TRUTH - HOW TO BE A MASTER OF OUR EMOTIONS.

In the world today, with alot of  issues going on around us, everyone is liable to be susceptible to being enslaved by one's emotions.
What do I mean by being emotionally enslaved? when one reacts to a situations in a negative manner without thinking about the effect of one's actions, it means your emotion has become your master, thus this is termed as emotional enslavement.

By having the opportunity to work with different groups of people and studied every individual I have met with,
It has become clear to me that the major problem that causes frictions in our society today is the inability of every individual to control their emotions.

So I am deeply concerned about this, so I  decided to discuss what can be done as individuals to overcome this challenge below.

We need to first know the kind of people who are liable to have issues controlling their emotions. They are those who are hot tempered, those who are too jealous, those whose childhoods were deprived of parental love or supports and those whose hearts were broken in their previous relationships to list a few.

It is possible for everyone to have gone through one of the aforementioned emotional challenges and yet be doing fine in the society without any emotional issues. all what we need learn are discussed below;

If one is a type who is hot tempered, to overcome this anger and aggression, one needs to choose being EMPHATIC AND UNDERSTANDING.
If  you show empathy to all the people around you or that cross your line by trying to see situations from their own perspectives too, that will enable you to understand them and unknowingly you will be able to suppress your anger.

If you are a type who is always jealous when you see someone who has what you don't have, you will need to value and be contented with what have.
Surprisingly, you will see that you will Live an enviable and a peaceful life.

For those whose childhoods were deprived of parental love, well this is said to be a critical issue, but it can be worked upon.  People do say, "you can't give what you don't have" . That means , if you were deprived  of love in your childhood , its possible that you won't be able to show unconditional caring and love to people.
But can't one borrow what one doesn't have? yes, all you need do is to imagine that you  had a lovely childhood and all the parental love a normal child should have.
Doing this will enable you to show love unconsciously to people. Thereby you will even forget about your childhood's experience.

For those whose hearts were broken in their past relationships, these people tend to believe that everyone they will later be with in life is like their ex - friend.
So they are always prone to be defensive or unconsciously aggressive by trying to visit the pain inflicted on them in their previous relationships on their new partners. And this will surely cause problems in the relationship.  So if one is in this situation , one should learn how to forget the past and move on with one's life. And try to stop thinking that all people are the same, that they will always do bad to you.

Try to be good to everyone, For, surely that kind gesture will be returned to you.
